Description: The St. Lawrence 27MW Wind Energy Project will be located near the town of St. Lawrence on the Burin Peninsula in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The project is the province's first commercial wind farm. The Design-Build Contract will include the erection of 9 Vestas V-90 wind turbine generators, with concrete foundations, access roads, equipment laydown area(s), erection pads, a 25 KV underground and overhead energy collector system, a project substation with a 25/66 kv step up transformer, and a 66 KV transmission line which will connect to the province's energy grid. The Project is scheduled for completion in November 2008.
