Description: This major project for Pennecon Energy had numerous phases. On the voyage to Rotterdam, we did a complete removal of main transfer deck using clamshell cutters. Once we reached The Netherlands, we prepared a flushing procedure for a complete offshore flushing of the water injection pump lubrication system, then performed a complete re-certification of all pressure vessels aboard the Terra Nova FPSO. This project required a great deal of planning and foresight as we were required to fabricate the tubing valve systems onshore, prior to an offshore installation. This project also required intricate surveying and drawing in preparation for a double block and bleed installation. We also completed training on the power generation turbines that were installed on the Terra Nova FPSO. We are very proud of our work for Petro Canada, Kellogg, Brown, & Root and the Terra Nova FPSO and we have a strong, continuing relationship. |
