Description: Ozark Services Ltd. was contracted to refurbish a generating unit at Cape Broyle in 2006. The scope of this project included the refurbishment of the generator and rotor windings with a process called CO2 or Dry-Ice Cleaning and the mechanical repair of the gates. In addition to this scope of work Ozark Services was also engaged to perform the Dry-Ice Cleaning of the NF Power generating unit at Pierre's Brook near Witless Bay. Ozark Services Ltd. is one of the only companies in Newfoundland and Labrador that has this equipment locally and provides the cleaning process to external customers. |
