Pennecon Limited is proud of its humble beginnings in the 1970’s that set the stage for continued growth over the years. We’ve established ourselves today as a diversified organization making our mark worldwide.  

Pennecon Limited is among the largest groups in Atlantic Canada with a service scope that has developed beyond our initial heavy civil focus to include energy, concrete and real estate.  While our services have broadened and changed over the years, there is one thing that has not changed – our commitment to hard work, job excellence and the recognition of extraordinary talent among our people.  It is our people who are our organization’s greatest asset and we must never lose sight of this.
 
Anchored by a team of skilled employees, we have been able to take on work not only in the Atlantic region, but also throughout Canada and around the world. We were in Holland for the Terra Nova FPSO’s first refit, we are building the first wind farm in St. Lawrence, NL, we are constructing subdivisions and industrial parks in Eastern NL, while on the other end of the country in British Columbia, we are working with the largest container company in the world to upgrade its terminal in Prince Rupert. We are also involved in precasting the tunnel for the Canada Line Project in Nanaimo and exciting ventures in Alberta that have proven to be demanding and rewarding, including the Horizon Oil Sands project.
